Material:   Nylon -Nylon is the most common Spinnaker material.  The fabric stretches slightly and sail makers use this stretch to form the curved shape of the spinnaker.   Nylon spinnakers can loose their shape over time but have a long life expectancy .  The kite should always be removed from the boat after use, dried and properly flaked.
